Barcaccia Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc, a grape widely grown in the Bordeaux region, has found a very favorable habitat on the coasts of Tuscany and Lazio, yielding excellent results, resulting in the production of great reds with an international appeal. Barcaccia Rosso is a new wine, a project tied to an area particularly suited to growing this grape, which yields profound wines of great elegance and finesse.

Vinification and refinement
Harvested at optimal phenolic ripeness, it is vinified in red at controlled temperature, undergoes a light maceration on the skins at the end of the alcoholic fermentation. It is immediately transferred to oak barriques where it matures and refines for a variable period, until its optimal expression is reached.
