Cannellino

It derives from “cannella,” which was the tap of the barrel from which it was traditionally drunk. Made from Malvasia del Lazio, Candia, and Trebbiano grapes, it presents a crystalline golden yellow. On the nose, it is intense and aromatic, immediately floral with yellow rose, followed by fruity notes of ripe pineapple and nectarine, hints of citrus, hints of lavender, and a slightly iodine-rich mineral finish. Sweet and immediately supported by great flavor, intensely floral and fruity, satisfying and balanced, it finishes with a long finish centered on flowers and aromatic herbs. Excellent with aged cheeses, crostini with meat pâté, cream-filled millefeuille, pastries, or on its own as a companion wine.
