Roma DOC Riserva
The Riserva del Roma DOC Poggio Le Volpi is our finest expression of the appellation. The Montepulciano, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grapes come from the same vineyards as the Roma vintage, but only the finest grapes are used in its production. After this meticulous selection, the wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, followed by approximately a year of aging in barriques of various vintages. Produced in very limited quantities, it aspires to become a benchmark for the appellation and the company’s flagship. This wine boasts a luminous, deep, and intense color, a dark, mineral aroma, and the aromatic power of the blend’s grape varieties.
