Just steps from the Li Paduli nature reserve, in the most authentic heart of Salento, lie the 150 hectares of the Li Paduli Estate. A generous and untamed territory, where Adriatic and Ionian winds caress the rows and the southern sun shapes grapes of strong character. Here, centuries-old agricultural tradition meets environmental stewardship: historic masserie, clay-limestone soils, and a biodiversity-rich ecosystem make this estate a privileged place for high-quality, sustainable viticulture.
Vineyards and grape varieties
The Li Paduli Estate is dedicated to grape varieties that find their ideal habitat in Salento. Among them stands out Sauvignon Blanc, which here surprises with its freshness and aromatic intensity: notes of tropical fruit and citrus, elegant vegetal nuances, savoury and mineral tones born from the nature of the soils and the constant influence of sea breezes.
Alongside Sauvignon Blanc, other carefully selected varieties are cultivated, benefiting from the same unique conditions: deep soils capable of retaining moisture during the hottest months and a microclimate that encourages slow, complete ripening.
Winemaking philosophy
At the Li Paduli Estate, viticulture is founded on respect and harmony with the surrounding environment. Vineyard practices follow sustainable principles: attentive pruning, balanced yield management, minimal chemical intervention, and the preservation of the biodiversity surrounding the nature reserve.
In the cellar, technology serves purity. Temperature-controlled fermentations and carefully calibrated ageing preserve the freshness and aromatic typicity of Sauvignon Blanc and the other varieties. The goal is clear: to give voice to the most authentic Salento, offering wines that are at once distinctive, modern, and respectful of the land from which they are born.
