Located in the Brindisi countryside, the Paticchi Estate covers approximately 70 hectares and represents one of the most established agricultural realities dedicated to enhancing Apulian tradition. Here we proudly cultivate native and international grape varieties, avoiding uniformity and instead focusing on identity: every cluster expresses a balance between history, territory, and innovation.

Vineyards and grape varieties

In the estate-owned vineyards of Masseria Paticchi, Negroamaro and Primitivo stand as the pillars of the local ampelographic heritage, alongside dedicated areas planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Fiano, Syrah, and Pinot Noir. In recent years, we have also enthusiastically introduced Susumaniello, an ancient native grape variety from the Brindisi area, known for its bold character, intense aromas, and a deep inner world of nuances. Many vineyards are trained using traditional systems, and in certain parcels, vines of high historical value are still cultivated — a tangible sign of the love for the land we wish to leave as a legacy.

Winemaking philosophy

At the Paticchi Estate, we believe that every decision in the vineyard and the cellar should be guided by three pillars: respect for the territory, varietal expression, and artisanal care.
Pruning, thinning, and harvesting are carried out with attention and perfect timing, carefully evaluating each individual vine. We select only the finest grapes and manage every stage in our winery using modern techniques, always guided by a sensibility deeply rooted in traditional knowledge.
Susumaniello, our true flagship variety, receives particular attention: vinified with controlled macerations and carefully calibrated ageing, it is able to return to the glass the most authentic essence of our Puglia.
